It is not easy to find affordable yoga wear in Singapore. Most of the yoga apparels out there are at skyrocketed price. For a college student like me, it is not possible nor necessary to purchase new sports wear on a regular basis due to the hefty price tag.

This is why I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there is a local start-up that sells affordable workout apparel in Singapore! Not only is it more affordable, the apparels are also designed from scratch by a Singaporean yoga enthusiast who envisions to bring more affordable and beautiful workout apparel to Singapore and all over the world.

The tops are comfortable, stretchy, and fits snugly to my body. I did not have to worry about having my tops ride up at all when I was in the middle of my yoga practice. The stretchy material makes the tops figure-hugging, and I feel as if I can just wear these tops for the entire day. The in-built bra also makes the top extremely comfortable and provides sufficient support throughout my practice.

Vivre Activewear’s latest collection kicks it up a notch by bringing in a splash of neon colours, which is so apt for the summer. I am absolutely loving the side string shorts ($46) that brought in such fun colours such as coral pink and lemon lime into the yoga ensemble. The side-string shorts fits very snugly, and I did not have to worry about my shorts riding up during my yoga practice. It adds such a fun splash of colour to my yoga practice.

Vivre Activewear’s Vaporizer Yoga Towel has become such a staple accessory to my yoga practice, especially when I am going to hot classes. Not only is the material lightweight, it is very absorbent, which prevents me from slipping around during hot yoga. Now I no longer have to fuss over shifting a small towel around the mat, and I can enter various yoga poses with ease and without having to worry about slipping. Another thoughtful feature is the pocket in the yoga towel, which allows me to place my valuables in them and not leave them behind in the yoga studio.
