What we collect and why

We collect personal data when you shop with us, create an account, contact us, or browse our site. This falls into two categories:

Information you give us directly — your name, email, shipping address, and any other details you provide when placing an order, creating an account, or getting in touch.

Information collected automatically — your IP address, device type, pages visited, and links clicked. This helps us understand how the site is being used so we can improve it.

We only process your data to fulfil your order, where we have a legitimate business interest, to meet a legal obligation, or where you've given consent.

We use cookies to keep you logged in, save your display preferences, and remember your cart. Login cookies last two days, preference cookies last one year. If you select "Remember Me", your login persists for two weeks. Logging out removes all login cookies.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your personal data with third parties by default. Payment is processed via Shopify Payments — your billing information is passed to them solely to complete your transaction. See the Shopify Payments Terms for details.

Who on our team has access

Our team can access your order details and contact information to fulfil orders and handle any support queries. This includes your name, email, billing and shipping address, and purchase history.

How long we keep your data

We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active or as required by law. You can request to export or delete your personal data at any time — except where we are legally required to retain it.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To make a request, reach out to us directly.

Third-party services and AI tools

We use third-party tools to provide customer support, including an AI chat assistant (Vivre Assist) powered by Anthropic Claude. Messages sent through our website chat or Instagram and Facebook direct messages may be processed by this assistant to generate responses. Message content may be logged for quality and improvement purposes. We do not use these messages for advertising or share them with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the service.
